National Assembly (NA) today unanimously approved a resolution against blasphemous caricatures published in French magazine.
Speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq chaired the session during which a resolution against blasphemous caricatures published in the French magazine was approved. The resolution says global community, United Nation (UN) and Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) should take notice of such disrepute acts and to prevent ‘misuse’ of Freedom of Expression.
Leader of opposition, Khursheed Shah, speaking on the occasion, said publishing of blasphemous content in European countries is promoting terrorism.
