Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah landed in Lahore last night from Dubai to meet governor and chief minister of Punjab.
Political pundits have termed the visit ‘important’ in the backdrop of recent momentum in opposition ranks after PTI and PAT protests against the government.
Murad Ali Shah, who was in Dubai to discuss the matters of the government of Sindh with Dubai based former president Asif Ali Zardari, landed in Lahore from Dubai likely to discuss the matters of mutual importance with the leadership of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Sindh chief minister after paying a visit at Data Darbar in Lahore reached Governor House this morning to have a breakfast meeting with Governor of Punjab Rafique Rajwana.
Chief Minister Shah will also meet Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif at a lunch likely to communicate some message of Asif Ali Zardari.
It is going to be seen whether Zardari extending a helping hand to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to pull him out of the stormy waters of the opposition agitation with an offer of ‘truce’. Or suggesting a political formula to create space for talks with opposition parties and to reach an amicable solution over the issues the opposition parties agitating for. Why the chief minister of Sindh has landed in Lahore for an unlikely and out of routine visit.
