Wouldn’t it be fun if you experienced a day in the life of funnyman Mr Bean? Well, Londoners enjoyed live misadventures of the bumbling loner as he put on a show for them.
According to Hollywood Reporter, as part of British sitcom Mr Bean‘s 25th anniversary celebration, Rowan Atkinson gave fans a live performance outside Buckingham Palace on Friday.
The 60-year-old English actor was in full character as he drove around the palace.
He entertained pedestrians while he sat on a fawn-colored chair placed atop his iconic green 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000.
He also had a mop in hand and his best friend Teddy, by his side.
The performance was a reenactment of a famous scene from his popular TV series Mr Bean.
He was accompanied by a small platoon of officers who drove behind him as he drove through the streets of London. During his ride, he also stopped to get ice cream in the park.The Mini had a #MrBean25 hashtag on the side for curious passers-by:
Mr Bean aired from 1990 to 1995 and was nominated for five BAFTAs, including best light entertainment performance (1991, 1992 and 1994), best light entertainment programme (1991) and best programme or series comedy (1992).
