Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNAs walk-out from the National Assembly (NA) in protest against controversial remarks of the opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah regarding mohajirs.
Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, MQM Rashid Godial lambasted the leadership of the PPP over the slogan of “Marsoon Marsoon Sindh na Daisoon”.
Speaking to NA, he said although Pakistan won its freedom from the English, but it later became slave to ‘black English’, and few families think that Pakistan is their (personal) property.
Speaking in favour of new provinces on administrative basis, he said “When Pakistan got independence, there was a population of 40 to 50 million people. The population has now surpassed 180 million,”.
Godial further added “In India, new provinces were created last year, but the country did not fall apart,”
