Pakistan’s pop singer Momina Mustehsan, in a video posted on Instagram, is revealing that she struggles about overcoming depression.
Momina, who became a singing sensation after her debut ‘Afreen Afreen’ with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Coke Studio, In a series of candid posts on Instagram, has opened up about her struggle with depression said “What people see is the other side of the story,”

She went to add that “It wasn’t easy for me,” the singer said, adding that “I was very depressed… I had lost all self-esteem…I came to a point I couldn’t look myself in the mirror.”
Momina has been open about things that she struggles during her depression, ‘You are smiling on the outside. It only gets better when you get better.”, she shared.”
“change has to come within you. Only if you love yourself, you know your own worth you will ever be happy.”
Momina also spoke at length about her rise to freedom and how becoming an overnight success made her an “object everyone had a right to comment on.”
