Imports of mobile phones increased by 3.23 per cent to $224.594 million during the first four months (July-October) of this fiscal year from the year-ago period, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.
The imports were $217.568m during the same period last year.
In October, the figure stood at $58.596m, a fall of 3.37pc when compared with the same month of last year, but a rise of 15.26pc over September 2014. The imports cost $60.641m in October 2013 and $50.839m in September 2014.
