Islamabad : Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the government has accommodated a maximum number of recommendations of parliamentarians and other stake-holders to finalize the budget 2015-16.
While talking to US Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson, who called on him on today, Dar said that the government believes in passing the budget with the consensus of all political parties.
The US envoy exchanged views with the finance minister about the schedule of meetings of Pak-US Working Group on Economy and Finance and Trade & Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Council including IMF, World Bank annual meetings.
They said the meetings had great significance in enhancing Pak-US economic cooperation. Both the sides agreed that schedule of both the meetings would be decided with mutual consultations. Pakistan will host the working group meeting while the TIFA meeting is likely be held in the US.
