The Saddar police in Okara town of Punjab province earlier yesterday arrested a man for hoisting the Indian flag at the roof of his house at 54/2L village.
A police team raided 54/2L village on Monday night and found the Indian flag at the roof of Umar Draz’s house. Umar got wind of the raid and escaped but police arrested him after some time.
Police registered a case under section 123-A of PPC and 16 MPO.

The detained man told the media that he was a fan of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and also had photographs of the cricketer pasted on the house walls.
He said he now realised that he had committed a blunder by hoisting the Indian flag.
