Government of Pakistan released 68 Indian fishermen on Monday.
Representatives of Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) handed over the Indian nationals to Indian Border Security Force at Joint Check Post Wahga.
The released Indian prisoners thanked Govt of Pakistan and appreciated the efforts / arrangements made by Pakistan Rangers Punjab for their timely and smooth departure.
Out of the 68 fishermen, 66 belonged to the Indian province of Gujrat, while two of them hailed from Uttar Pradesh.
