Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has submitted to the Supreme Court details of his income earned playing around and details of flat in London.
As per the statements presented to the supreme court by the counsel of Imran Khan stated that Imran was selected to play cricket for Pakistan on June 03, 1971 and on the same year he also started playing for Worcestershire.
The statement also stated that Khan played for Sussex County from 1977 to 1988, during this period all the payments Imran received had income tax deducted at source.
The statement also read that Imran spend his days outside Pakistan from 1977 to 1988 due to his contract with Sussex Country Cricket and to participate in other international events, he was a non-resident. Therefore, the Pakistani income tax law did not apply to him.
The statement further added that Khan also played for the Kerry Packer series between 1977 and 1979, for US$ 25,000 per year. Additional to the earning were airfare, boarding, lodging and prize money.
