Lahore: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Emergency Ambulance, Rescue and Fire Services along with 7500 rescuers will remain on emergency alert during Eid holidays in all Districts of Punjab to provide emergency cover to the citizens in case of any emergency.
In this regard, DG Rescue Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer reviewed special emergency arrangements in a meeting held at Rescue 1122 Headquarters today.
The Provincial Monitoring Cell briefed the Director General that Emergency plans for Eid have been finalized in all districts of Punjab in close coordination with Districts administrations. All districts emergency services have made plans for deployment of emergency ambulance, rescue and fire services at important mosques and Eid Gahs.
In Rawalpindi, the Rescue 1122 staff will remain on special duties in district control room, emergency rescue stations, 14 equipped emergency ambulances, 10 fire vehicles, 02 rescue vehicles, 02 water bowzers, and 02 specialize vehicles.
Special mobile posts shall also be established for providing effective medical cover to the Eid gatherings. The Director General wished all the citizens a safe Eid in advance and advised the motorists to drive safely with families.
