The Senate was informed on Friday that passport offices will be set up in all districts by January next year.
Minister of State for Interior Baligh-ur-Rehman told the Upper House while responding to a call attention notice, moved by Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar, that work in this regard is in full progress with the aim to facilitate the people.
He said that passports in several districts including Nushki, Kalat, Panjgoor, Mastung are almost ready and will be inaugurated after Muharram.
The passport offices in Musa Khel, Barkham and Jhal Magsi will be inaugurated on 15th of this month. (APP)
