Ghazi Fabrics International Limited, a listed company, has decided to set up 8.1 MW heavy fuel oil based captive power plant at budgeted cost of Rs130 million.
Ghazi Fabrics said in a statement: “Although the company has a gas based captive power plant, due to the shortage of gas in the country the plant is not running at full capacity. Consequently the national grid is partially being used for power which is also not reliable for full utilisation for the foreseeable period.”
