Former international cricketer Aamer Hanif’s son, Mohammad Zaryab, committed suicide over non-selection in an Under-19 cricket team.
In a video message former cricketer, Aamer hanif, alleged that his son Mohammad Zaryab committed suicide after he was declared too old to be selected for the U-19s cricket team.
“My son was pressurized, he was told he was overage. The coaches’ behavior towards him forced him to commit suicide” said Hanif,
Zaryab hanged himself to death on Monday.
Zaryab had represented Karachi in an U-19 tournament in Lahore last month, from where he was sent home.
The deceased’s funeral prayers will be offered today.
