Intelligence agencies have issued security alert and informed the Ministry of Interior about a possible terrorist attack on Islamabad sit-ins.
Intelligence agencies in their latest report claimed that five to six terrorists present at the Islamabad sit-ins, who are planning to execute a major terrorist attack.
Intelligence agencies have also claimed to intercepted telephonic conversations between the terrorists, who tend to turn the demonstrations bloody and provided these intercepts to the Ministry of Interior.
In the report it is stated that the terrorists are linked with a banned outfit of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
The Interior Ministry has conveyed an intelligence alert to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and asked both the protesting parties to tighten their internal security.
