Pakistan Army and scouts have recovered at least two dead bodies out of eight persons trapped in an avalanche in Karim Abad.
The incident took place in Susoom village of Karim Abad, where eight persons including six students were buried in the avalanche after they were returning home from school after appearing in their examination.
Pakistan army and scouts launched operation and recovered the body of a student. The operation is underway to rescue other persons.
According to local news, six students of the Govt High School Shoghor had gone to appear in their school exams earlier yesterday after appearing in final papers, students left for home accompanied by a local adult. But they never made to their home.
The missing persons have been identified as Imran Uddin, son of Azmat; Ali Shaan, Imran, son of Afzal; Muhammad Elahi, a student of ninth class; Faiz Ali, student of class 10th, and residents of Karimabad, Irshad Ahmed, class 9th, and Rehmat Bai, son of Adina Khan of Pursan valley.
