Despite year long anti-criminal crackdown by police and Rangers, incidents of violence continued in Karachi as two more people lost their lives.
According to police and rescue officials, a former councilor and his son were gunned down in city’s Orangi Town locality this morning.
The victims – identified as Rashid and Adil – were sitting in a hotel when unknown biker riders opened fire on them, killing both father and son on the spot.
The deceased were said to be affiliated with a political party. Their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
