Earthquake jolts were felt in parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Islamabad earlier today.
While tremors were felt in both areas, no loss of life has been reported thus far.
According to the USGS, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit Tajikistan today.
Earlier on November 25, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale jolted parts of K-P.
Tremors were felt in Malakand, Swat, Mingora and other areas of the province. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan.
