DSP Naved Irshad’s teenage son Talha who had earlier crushed a man in Lahore under his vehicle has surrendered to the police.
Talha fled the accident scene and later on surrendered himself over to the cops after securing anticipatory bail.
The Lahore police let the accused flee after impounding the vehicle.
Punjab police spokesperson, Nabeela Ghazanfar while talking to media that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab had taken notice of the incident.
Meanwhile, Punjab government spokesman Zaim Qadri also assured action against the teenage driver, saying that “none will be allowed to take law into own hands.”
On Monday, Talha, 16, ran over Rana Bilal, 25, a Non Linear Editor at a local news channel.
