Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday met with British Prime Minister David Cameron and discussed issue of action against banned outfits, anti state operations from outside Pakistan and measures to stop terror financing from abroad.
On a three days visit to United Kingdom (UK) COAS General Raheel Sharif met the British political and military leadership.
According to the details, the COAS discussed matters of mutual interest and the situation on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
He was presented full guard of honour and was as accompanied by Chief of the Defence Staff UK, Gen Sir Nicholas Houghton.
Earlier, General Sharif called on British chief of defense and national security advisor. The meeting discussed matters relating bilateral relations, combined military training courses and strengthening of defense cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, few agreements are also likely to be signed between both the countries during the COAS’s visit to Britain.
