Lahore : Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Punjab reopened from on Monday for ten days as per schedule.
According to details, as many as 90 out of 200 CNG stations in Lahore have been allowed to reopen whereas on the other hand, Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) stated that only those owners would be supplied Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) who will pay Rs 20 lac security money.
However, majority of the pumps are still not open due to this condition of SNGPL. The owners say that they have been left bankrupt due to long closure of CNGs and they are also not sure how long they will be supplied with GAS if they deposit the required amount.
