Christian community across the world and in Pakistan celebrated Easter with regions zeal and fervour.
Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the occasion. It is typically the well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches on Easter Sunday.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place at churches across Pakistan to ensure that no untoward incident takes place.

Special prayers were held at Cathedral Church of the Resurrection (Lahore Cathedral), Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Church, St. Anthony’s Church, St. Joseph’s Church and St. Henry’s Church. In Gulberg Saint Merry Church a special prayer ceremony was arranged in which children performed religious singing.
