In its initial report, a team formed to investigate the Bacha Khan University (BKU) terror outrage in Charsadda, has termed the incident a result of a security failure and recommended suspension of the Vice Chancellor of the university.
According to the report, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had issued clear-cut security instructions to all educational institutions in the wake of Army Public School (APS) attack but they were all ignored with no action taken on the same.
“Most of the security staff including the in-charges lacked proper training to control such situations,” the report said.
The report has termed the BKU attack a result of negligence on part of the University’s administration, asking the KPK Governor to suspend the university’s Vice Chancellor.
