4.7 magnitude earthquake jolts were felt in Gilgit and Baltistan late Wednesday night. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said, the earthquake magnitude was recorded as 4.7 on the Richter scale and its depth was registered at 15 kilometres.  The earthquake’s epicentre was 37 kilometres southwest of Skardu.
