Boxing champion Amir Khan was chased and attacked when a car rammed into his Range Rover on Wednesday.
According to, The Sun, Khan was attacked by a group of men in his hometown of Bolton in Greater Manchester when his car was involved in an accident reported.
The boxer and other party engaged in a violent encounter after a confrontation over the collision -thought to have been caused when the boxer took a wrong turn.
Several men set on Khan with one man throwing a punch in his direction, sources said.
No arrests have been made in relation to the incident, which took place at around 9.15 PM local time on Friday.
International media said citing a Manchester Police spokeswoman, ‘We were called to reports of road rage incident/assault.
“It appears the person driving has made a wrong turn and this has angered the person behind them and there’s been an altercation.”

This is not the first time the boxer has encountered trouble while driving.
