Director General (DG) Inter Services Public relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday has said that the Pakistan Army is conducting an indiscriminate operation among all banned outfits and extremist organizations.
He expressed these views in a media briefing.
The DG ISPR said that the operations against terrorists including that in North Waziristan are continuing successfully. He expressed a resolve to continue the operations until the elimination of terrorism from the country.
DG Bajwa said that the attack on Karachi Airport was the turning point after which the Pakistan Army launched (an all out) operation against terrorists. He further said that they would not allow Pakistani soil to be used against any country.
He said that the Kashmir issue is a big hurdle in the peace making struggles of Pakistan and India.
