The ICC Champion Trophy 2017 was unveiled at Karachi’s Edhi Home on Thursday.
Cricketer Shahid Afridi and the Pakistan Ambassador for the ICC championship, unveiled the trophy along with the Edhi Family and the kids at the orphanage.
The ICC trophy is on tour around the world and arrived in the metropolis on March 29. The trophy will also travel to the Mohatta Palace and the University of Karachi, where fans will get the chance to see the trophy.
Speaking on the occasion, Afridi said he will travel to England to watch high-voltage Pakistan-India match. ‘I will definitely go there, Pak-India match is always interesting to watch.’
The ICC Champions Trophy started its journey on March 21st from Dubai. Since then the trophy has been travelling to various cities around the world. Karachi is the seventh city, and it will then heads to Johannesburg South Africa, before reaching England.
