Kakul: Afghan Army Chief attended passing out parade of Pakistan military academy today (Saturday).
For the first time in history an Afghan Army Chief participated in a passing out parade.
Afghan Army Chief General Sher Muhammad Karimi was the chief guest at Kakul passing out parade. During his address he thanked for wonderful hospitality.
Karimi while congratulating the passing out cadets said “You and your future commanders will make a difference”,
General Karimi said that Afghanistan and Pakistan face several dangers and both the countries must focus on the solutions of the problems.
Karimi urged for a joint fight against terrorism, saying both the countries have been suffering from this problem since years and now time has come to join hands to wipe out this manace.
He also said that we cannot have peace in our country when our neighbors are suffering from terrorism and other problems.
“I am hopeful that ongoing strategic dialogue between Afghanistan and Pakistan would bring good results”, he added.
