Around 218 Indian fishermen have been released as a goodwill gesture from the district Jail Malir here on Thursday, said Police and Edhi sources.
Pakistan Railways official told APP that the fishermen left the metropolis through the Allama Iqbal Express for Lahore for their onward journey to India.
The Indian fishermen will arrive Wagah border on Friday.
The Edhi Foundation has provided Rs 500 each, besides gifts to the fishermen, said Edhi sources.

Indian fishermen were released by the Pakistan on December 25, 2016 as a gesture of goodwill on the occasion of Christmas. – APP
