A two-year old died and seven injured in a hand grenade attack in Karachi’s troubled Lyari earlier today, more ever three more individuals died in other violence-related incidents.
According to details, two motorists threw a hand grenade at an auto rickshaw at Mirza Adam Khel Road in Lyari and fled. The attack claimed the life of a two year old and injured seven others, who were thence shifted to the civil hospital. The incident caused panic and shopkeepers closed their businesses.
On the other hand, body of a woman was recovered from the area Ali Muhammad Goth of Surjani Town. The body, however, has not yet been identified as yet..
Also, a man was shot dead in Manghopir near Northern Bypass whereas a man identified as Saqib was gun downed by unidentified miscreants in Orangi Town No. 2.
